Martineta Copetona/Eudromia elegans/Elegant Crested-Tinamou:

Tinamou distintivo y atractivo, casi endémico de Argentina, presente desde el norte de la Patagonia hasta la región del desierto del Monte. Prefiere hábitats abiertos y rocosos. Al norte del Chaco es reemplazado por el similar Quebracho Crested-Tinamou (Eudromia formosa). A menudo es hallado más fácilmente por su canto: un silbido de tres sílabas, un "tuii-tioo-tuu". 

The distinctive and attractive Tinamou is almost endemic to Argentina, occurring from northern Patagonia to the Monte Desert region. It prefers open, rocky habitats. North of the Chaco, it is replaced by the similar Quebracho Crested-Tinamou (Eudromia formosa). It is often most easily found by its song: a three-syllable whistle, a "tuii-tioo-tuu".
