Pablo F. Rodríguez

Pablo es un Conservacionista y Fotógrafo de Naturaleza, además de Guía de Observación de Aves y Operador VANT, descubrió su conexión con la vida silvestre desde muy joven en su Baradero natal, cuando su padre le regaló en 1996 el libro 100 aves argentinas, dedicado por su autor, Tito Narosky. Ese gesto despertó una curiosidad que lo llevó a recorrer paisajes de todo el país, desarrollando una profunda sensibilidad por la conservación.

Aunque tuvo un paso por el deporte de alto rendimiento, su vínculo con la naturaleza siempre estuvo presente. En 2014, impulsado por su madre, comenzó a dedicarse a la fotografía, un punto de inflexión que marcó el inicio de su camino profesional.

Se formó como Guardaparque, donde conoció a su gran amigo y socio en la conservación, Martín “Gaita” Carrevedo. Desde entonces integra el trabajo de campo con la fotografía y la tecnología ambiental, especialmente a través de relevamientos con cámaras trampas y drones para instituciones como CONICET, Parques Nacionales, la Subsecretaría de Ambiente y la ONG Red Yaguareté, con quienes colaboró en diversos proyectos de monitoreo de fauna y ecosistemas.

Actualmente se desempeña como Inspector de Fauna de la Nación Argentina en la Dirección Nacional de Protección Ambiental, donde trabaja en la lucha contra el tráfico de fauna silvestre y el crimen organizado, además de colaborar en distintos proyectos de investigación.

Fue coordinador en AGOA y es cofundador de la Reserva Natural Privada Che Roga, un espacio creado junto a Martín y enfocado en la conservación del Delta del Tigre, donde la Fundación Temaikén liberó los primeros ejemplares de fauna silvestre rehabilitada en la zona, marcando un hito para la región.

Como fotógrafo de naturaleza, combina observación, técnica y ética, aportando imágenes a proyectos científicos y de divulgación. Entre sus colaboraciones más destacadas se encuentra el libro “Yaguareté: vida, leyenda y esperanza de la verdadera fiera en Argentina” de la ONG Red Yaguareté.

Además, brinda charlas sobre tráfico de fauna, fotografía de naturaleza para la conservación y tareas operativas de alta responsabilidad.

Co-fundó Ñandú Birding junto a Martín con el objetivo de acercar a más personas a la naturaleza desde la calidez humana, el aprendizaje y el respeto por cada especie y su ambiente.

Pablo is a Conservationist and Nature Photographer, as well as a Birdwatching Guide and UAV Operator. He discovered his connection with wildlife at a very young age in his hometown of Baradero, when in 1996 his father gifted him the book 100 Argentine Birds, signed by its author, Tito Narosky. That gesture sparked a curiosity that led him to explore landscapes across the country, developing a deep sensitivity for conservation.

Although he had a period as a high-performance athlete, his bond with nature was always present. In 2014, encouraged by his mother, he began pursuing photography—an inflection point that marked the beginning of his professional path.

He trained as a Park Ranger, where he met his great friend and conservation partner, Martín “Gaita” Carrevedo. Since then, he has integrated fieldwork with photography and environmental technology, especially through wildlife surveys using camera traps and drones for institutions such as CONICET, National Parks, the National Environmental Protection Directorate, and the NGO Red Yaguareté, with whom he collaborated on various fauna and ecosystem monitoring projects.

He currently serves as a Wildlife Inspector for the Argentine Nation at the National Directorate of Environmental Protection, where he works to combat wildlife trafficking and organized environmental crime, while also collaborating on several research initiatives.

He was a coordinator at AGOA and is co-founder of the Private Nature Reserve Che Roga, a space created together with Martín and focused on the conservation of the Tigre Delta. The reserve became a milestone site when Fundación Temaikén released the first rehabilitated native wildlife back into the area.

As a nature photographer, he combines observation, technique, and ethics, contributing images to scientific and educational projects. Among his most notable collaborations is the book “Yaguareté: Life, Legend and Hope of the True Feline in Argentina” by Red Yaguareté.

He also gives talks on wildlife trafficking, nature photography for conservation, and high-responsibility field operations.

Pablo co-founded Ñandú Birding with Martín with the mission of bringing more people closer to nature through human warmth, learning, and deep respect for every species and its environment.
